Gillespie Electric, Inc. – 2020 Emerging Leader of the Year
Gillespie Electric Inc., is proud to announce that Cory Burkhart, Service Coordinator/Business Relations, has been awarded the Emerging Leader of the Year by Associated Builders and Contractors(ABC) Eastern PA Chapter. The Emerging Leaders Committee prepares the next generation of construction industry leaders for success by encouraging career-minded individuals through training and leadership development while still focusing on the merit philosophy.
Cory has been with Gillespie Electric for two years as a full-time employee in the Service Department and has worked part time since high school in the shop, accounting and estimating departments. Cory is involved with the ABC not only on the Emerging Leaders Committee but also as the Legislative Liaison for the committee and has attended State and National Legislative Days. Cory has also supported the local community by volunteering his time with the Meals on Wheels program and is involved with the Legislative Affairs and Young Professionals at the local Chamber of Commerce.
